这书是同学夫人过来吃饭带给我的..她是北美私立大学人文社科类老师..这本书的例子很丰富了。我的感受是..文史哲社科类英国德国系统才够格吧...能收获点靠谱的训练...书里讲的各种方式本质都是吹泡泡..欺人+教人自欺。训练小孩和青年学生一上来就吹..资质极差都是神童长得多丑都是美女戴个高帽子架火上烤结果活在泡泡里然后幻灭之后遇到真话就崩溃,只能trapped in self-deception..这年头跑去home depot做实习生也需要体力.新闻上有个大学生用Robinhood交易期权把自己弄死了..过度吹捧的傻狗一碰那玩意就是鱼饵命了。不过如今的服务业不吹捧学生的话..大学要倒闭了..

[Libby] 全书dances around the C word, 太敢说了,听的我一愣一愣的!是一本非常符合我个人三观的书,赞同其中95%的观点(resilience, emotion, intention, free speech etc),尤其是在social justice一节中关于"disproportionately"的精彩论述,听得我想扔掉方向盘来鼓掌。不过在老师(上一辈人)看来,我也是被coddled长大的了。
